Dear Parents
Welcome back to these busy 6 weeks of the summer term. I cannot believe this will also be the last 6 weeks for 36 lovely squirrels who we say goodbye to........... This is always a very sad time for us. Please read the whole of this newsletter as there are some changes in normal routines and I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out. Thank you.
Our term dates are Monday 7 June until Friday 16 July (Headley) and Monday 19 July (Lindford).
Please welcome some children who started midway through last term plus some new children starting this week (Headley) and please welcome 2 new children at Lindford. Please make their families welcome. Thank you.
Staff – please welcome S Garrett who started during last term at Headley. A former primary school teacher returning to work after her family has settled at school. She has a lot of experience and will hopefully study for her EYPS (Early Years Professional Status) commencing in the Autumn Term. You may see her at Lindford as well.
Sun tan cream / lotion – please make sure you sign the authorisation form for a staff member to apply sun cream (Nivea factor 50) to your child or otherwise please supply own cream (again, form must be signed).
For your information – during hot weather we erect the gazebos and have available drinking water at all times for your children.
Flip flops / crocs – unfortunately I do not think flip flops / crocs are suitable or safe for preschool. The children are climbing on the apparatus, also running around / dancing etc., and need proper sandals / trainers. Thank you.
Lunch box – please can you make sure that you include an ice pack to keep the contents cool and fresh. Thank you.
September 2010 – September is really really busy. I have indicated which sessions I am reserving for you from September, please contact me ASAP if they are incorrect.
