Both settings are bright, secure, happy, stimulating environments , with good facilities and warm welcoming caring staff with lots of experience.
We help your child to develop the confidence and learn new skills required for their early years in school. There are opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in activities and events of the group.
We have good outdoor play areas while Headley also makes use of the school hall, sports field, and woodland walk .
Both settings plan and follow the same routine incorporating the early learning goals, staff work together planning weekly/termly.
We begin each day with registration and letter of the week, the children are encouraged to bring in something beginning with that letter. We also go through the date and days of the week, months of the year and the seasons.
We follow a varied timetable allowing for lots learning through free play and messy craft activities followed by more structured 'after snack' group activities. ie music, PE, story books , pre writing and pre maths skills etc
Our Role play areas are fun. They are planned and changed with the children , we have had a hairdressers, vets, puppet theatre, shoe shop, builders yard, Santa's grotto and jungle to name but a few!
We have use of computers for early IT skills.
Lunchtime and afternoon sessions are available , where children can bring their own packed lunch for a lovely informal social occasion.
